Trade Show Exhibition + Event Coordination

Working for start-up companies often presents opportunities that provide invaluable professional experience. I consider the opportunities I had to coordinate company attendance at some of the beauty industry’s largest trade shows as part of that experience. Highlighted show attendance includes COSMOPROF North America and Natural Products Expo East shows, that play host to some of the largest consumer brands and retail buyers across the beauty and personal care industries.

Roles + Responsibilities

  • Prepare RFQ’s for bids on booth design and manufacture

  • Oversaw final booth design contract design and order completion

  • Negotiated contracts and pricing for booth space rental and show legal/insurance requirements

  • Prepared detailed budgets for trade show exhibition, travel, lodging, meals/entertainment and set-up logistics

  • Coordinated marketing/promotional materials and lead pre-show efforts to set meetings with prospects at the shows

  • Week-of event and travel coordination for all staff in attendance
